999電臺繁忙但警局電話號碼難記

Millions of people have difficulties in remembering the telephone of their local police stations.  These telephone numbers are 8-digit and are difficult to remember.

My suggestion:  

There are 99 telephone numbers available for each police station, starting from 900, 901, 902....998.  Why not use them?  Say for instance,  Central police station is 900, Wan Chai is 901, Causewaybay is 903, etc.

Recent news:

  All 999 telephone hotlines are in operations but the service is very busy. Officers would take the call from members of the public as soon as possible.
      
     Members of the public could also call nearby police stations (https://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/contact_us.html) for assistance.
